Audition Requirements

All applicants must come prepared with the following:

1. Memorized Promotional Script

Please be ready to recite the following script as part of your audition. You may personalize it, but memorize the base version:

"Hi, my name is [Your Name] and I’m auditioning for Reyes Academy 2025. If you are looking for amazing choreography for your Quinceañera, Reyes Events is the way to go. Follow them on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok at ReyesEvents to see how they help young people shine on and off the stage. I’m so excited to be a part of this journey."

2. 30 Second Choreography Performance

Perform a 30 second freestyle or choreographed dance
Any style is welcome such as Latin, hip hop, contemporary and more
No prior dance experience is necessary
We are looking for creativity, confidence and potential

Empowering Girls Ages 13–17 Through Culture, Confidence, and Creativity

Reyes Events, in partnership with the nonprofit Events That Benefit, is excited to announce the upcoming Reyes Academy Auditions for 2025. This unique program is designed specifically for girls aged 13–17, offering a transformative experience that nurtures artistic talent, builds leadership skills, and strengthens cultural identity.

The Reyes Academy is more than a youth program. It’s a creative journey that blends the performing arts with digital literacy and community engagement. Students will receive hands-on instruction in dance, modeling, and social media, while developing critical life skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Program Overview

Participants will progress through a structured curriculum focused on four key areas:

Dance & Movement

Exploration of Latin, contemporary, hip-hop, and traditional cultural dance
Choreography fundamentals and improvisation
Performance readiness and stage presence
Cultural dance research and presentations

Modeling & Self-Presentation

Runway techniques and posture training
Public speaking and self-confidence development
Fashion styling and personal branding
Photography and posing for professional shoots

Social Media & Digital Literacy

Responsible and impactful digital presence
Content creation strategies for video, photo, and storytelling
Online safety, etiquette, and branding
Introduction to digital entrepreneurship

Community Engagement & Leadership

Peer mentorship and collaborative projects
Volunteer opportunities and community service
Planning and hosting community events and showcases
Leadership development workshops
